Rachel and Preston had a stunning Spring day for their wedding at Isleworth Country Club. As always, the incredible staff at Isleworth put on the perfect event. The Event Source was responsible for all the breathtaking floral and decor and the band kept this energetic crowd partying hard all night long. Everyone had such a wonderful time, including us.

Normally I do not like to put this much text on the blog but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this engagement story. I copy and pasted it from their wedding website:

PROPOSAL STORY

Jennifer's Version:
Finally! It was a perfect day to go putt-putting. I wanted to go for so long, especially since we had two free passes! It was Sunday and Mike and I got there early to beat the rush. As always, I was beating Mike (this might be a lie...). We were on the 15th hole and when I kneeled down to get my ball out of the hole I found something. I really had no idea what it was. I even took it out of the hole and asked "what is this?" Finally, I opened the box and found a beautiful ring inside. I looked over at Mike who was kneeling down with me by the hole. I screamed and jumped all over him... I was so excited! He had to calm me down so he could ask me if I would marry him. Of COURSE, I said yes :) After I was shaking with excitement trying to finish the next three holes, we went to the car and spent over an hour calling our family and friends! It was perfect!

Michael's Version:
MISSION: Putt Putt Proposal
In order for my proposal to be successful three criteria had to be met:

1. We had to be away from the crowd: Although there were several families in front of us in line, Jennifer suggested starting on the 4th hole to avoid the wait (unknowingly playing perfectly into my master plan).

2. I had to putt first in order to place the box in the hole before her turn: After much deliberating, I decided to put my plan into action at around the 8th hole; however, I was immediately faced with a dilemma when Jen scored a hole-in-one on that very same hole. I was unable to carry out my plan since she had honors on the following hole. Finally, after losing or tying her for five straight holes, I was able to beat her on the 14th hole. I wasted no time and discretely slipped the box into the 15th hole while retrieving my ball.

3. She had to make her putt far enough away from the hole so that she couldn't see the box while she was putting: All I could do now was just sit back and watch my plan unfold. Jen's second putt was nowhere near the hole (where was this for 8-13?), so I was concerned that her third putt would put her close enough to see the box. To my surprise, she sank a miraculous putt! As she pulled the box out of the hole I got down on one knee and...SHE SAID YES! (before I even asked ;)
