Welcome to the Mike Briggs Photography blog! For those of you who do not know me, I am Mike Briggs and I am a wedding photographer here in Orlando, Florida. I have a passion for uniquely capturing all the genuine moments and special details for the coolest couples around.

My goal with this site is to showcase images from the weddings and events I shoot as well as be an information and inspiration source for my clients or anyone else who is planning their wedding. Christy and Steven Omni Champions Gate Wedding 08.20.10

Christy and Steven had their big day at the fabulous Omni Champions Gate Resort. The Omni's outdoor ceremony location is very pretty but due to the summer heat, Christy and Steven planned all along to have their ceremony indoors in one of the Omni's spectacular rooms. Their day was absolutely perfect and we loved celebrating along side their friends and family.

The always wonderful Tracy Marini from Eventfully yours was on hand to coordinate all the details and DJ MJ from Junction 88 Productions not only kept the party rockin' all night but did the awesome reception lighting.













Christy had to have a few shots next to her new car! H..O..T!!

Ashley and Will Mission Inn Wedding 08.20.10

Ashley and Will had their ceremony at the gorgeous First Presbyterian Church of Eustis and their reception at The Mission Inn Resort. We started at The Mission Inn for a few getting ready shots and then headed over to the church and then back to the resort for the party. Unfortunately, the weather started out great but then quickly turned and we ended up having to dodge raindrops all day long. Even though the weather was a little off, their day turned out absolutely perfect. We were able to get lots of awesome shots, their ceremony was beautiful and the live band really rocked the reception. Tommy Murphy at Greenery productions did the floral and Sonya Keller at Busy Brides coordinated this fabulous event.

Brittany and Nabil Ritz Carlton Wedding 06.30.10

Brittany and I have had shared many phone calls and emails over the past year and I was so happy to meet her and Nabil in person for the first time on wedding day, for their destination wedding at the Ritz Carlton here in Orlando.

As with all summer weddings in Orlando, there is a chance of afternoon rain. Well, unfortunately, the rain came about an hour before the ceremony and pushed it inside. The rain moved through and even though we did not have an outdoor ceremony, we were able to get some great shots around the property and the day really turned out absolutely wonderful. Everyone had an awesome time and the party rocked all night long thanks to the fantastic DJ Carl.

Shea and Rick Wedding 05.30.10

Shea and Rick were married at an adorable church in Tuscawillia and then we headed downtown to the Citrus Club for their reception. Everything turned out so perfectly and it was wonderful sharing in Shea and Rick's big day. Their friends and family were a big party crowd and the dance floor was full all night long. I loved the energy of the crowd combined with the really awesome views of downtown Orlando atop the Citrus Club.

An Affair to Remember was on hand to keep the day running smooth and perfect.

Jaclyn and Eric Orlando Wedding 05.23.10

It was wonderful being a part of Jaclyn and Eric's wedding in Orlando. The big day turned out to be a beautiful bright and sunny May wedding in Florida, perfectly matching their yellow themed wedding. I loved all the fun yellow details and we had a really great time celebrating with all their friends and family.

Jaclyn wore her mothers wedding dress. You don't really see this done anymore so it was very special for Jaclyn and mom.
