Holly and Scott...Happily Ever After!! 08.14.08  |  Day after

Holly and Scott are back for more!

If you are stopping by for the first time and have not had the chance to get to know Holly and Scott, I suggest you check out the post of their engagement session which we did at the Portofino Bay Hotel and check out the post of their wedding that was at Isleworth a few months ago. They decided to finish it all off with a Day After session at the beach and I am so glad they did!!

A Day After Session a great opportunity to get back into your wedding dress one last time and along with your husband, capture some sweet images from locations you would not typically be able to on wedding day, all while having a ton of fun. I know Trash the Dress has been all the rage over the last year or so and getting totally soaked isn't for everyone but a Day After can be as mild or as wild as you want it to be. Holly and Scott however, wanted to go all the way. So we spent the session doing a little mild and a little wild, Mike Briggs Style.

By the way, see if you can spot Holly's favorite color. Hmmmm, or maybe her plan all along was to coordinate her Engagement Session, Wedding and Day After all to my logo. :-)

The sun was really trying to come out from behind the clouds.

I love all the texture in this shot.

This was one of my favorites of the day.

This was my favorite of the day. They could be in a Calvin Klein ad.

And as if she was not wet enough, one more wave...just for fun!

Leslie and Matt's Wedding 08.05.08  |  Weddings

Leslie and Matt were back in Orlando and this time they decided to get married. Well, it was not that spontaneous, they have been planning it for a while but they were in Orlando, they did get married and I got to share in all the excitement!! You probably remember them from the engagement session we did back in December. Leslie could not stop smiling and giggling, it was so much fun. At the time they were living in Boston and came into town to get out of the cold, visit some family and meet up with me. This has been a busy couple weeks for them. They moved to North Carolina, started new jobs and got married here in Orlando, all at the same time!! And they were still totally stress free and as happy as ever. It was so delightful to share their day with them. We started out at All Saints in Winter Park and then headed over to the Winter Park Racquet Club for the reception.

Here is Leslie getting her very first look at her bouquet. As you can see, she loved it!!

I couldn't resist getting Leslie to lean up against the Rolls Royce.

To EVERYONES surprise, Leslie decided more cake should go on Matt's face then in his mouth. Then she prepared for Matt to reciprocate but he was a total gentleman. It was such good fun.

And we will finish with my favorite of the day.

Michelle and Guy's Engagement Session 07.28.08  |  Engagements

I met up with Michelle and Guy on the beach at sunrise for their engagement session. There were a few clouds on the horizon that would not let the sun come all the way out but that did not stop us from having a great time and clicking off some cool shots in the changing light. Michelle and Guy were super relaxed from the start (waking up at 5:00am helps) and had no problem snuggling up and showing how much they love each other. We will see them again in September for their big day at Knowles Chapel and I can't wait to celebrate with them.

Just us and a few seagulls.

LOVE this shot, so relaxed and natural.

My favorite of the day.

Kim and Bill's Wedding 06.19.08  |  Weddings

Here are some shots from Kim and Bill's wedding at the Mission Inn. It has been a very special and wonderful ride with this couple. Our relationship started with an email and a phone call almost a year ago expressing how touched they were by what I do.

I am very thankful they found me because we have had so much fun together. Kim and Bill both live and work in Washington D.C. and planned a destination wedding here to Orlando. They got engaged on the steps of the U.S. Capitol Building and therefore it was extremely important that their engagement photos be done in D.C. So, back in November they flew us up there and we spent a couple of days together. The first day we spent a few hours shooting at some really cool places and the second day we did some sightseeing together. To view their engagement pictures, click here.

We have since chatted on the phone more times than I can count, about virtually everything. I am so happy for Kim and Bill who are now Husband and wife but I have to admit that I am a little sad that I no longer have their wedding to look forward to. She has however mentioned that in a few years there is another trip to D.C. in my future.....to get photos of their first baby. I can't wait!!!

Jennifer and Matt's Wedding 06.09.08  |  Weddings

Isleworth was the venue for Jennifer and Matt's wedding ceremony and reception. Isleworth's website uses the words breathtaking, magnificent and unparalleled to describe their location. I not only agree with their description but would like to add that seeing such a friendly and amazing staff in action at such a beautiful location truly makes having a wedding there a special experience.

Matt and Jennifer's wedding day details were flawless and the day could not have been more perfect for them. They were also soooo into each other all day long. It was so romantic and beautiful and I am so happy for both of them.

Jennifer and Dad sharing a moment coming down the aisle.

There was a stiff breeze, so we used it to our advantage!!

Jennifer and Dad sharing another moment.

And here is a slide show. The music is Heaven by Tina Arena.
